The on-chain monitoring platform Lookonchain has tracked that CryptoKit has been regularly purchasing ApeCoin (APE) for several weeks, starting from August 2nd, 2023.
During this period, Machi Big Brother acquired a total of 4.73 million APE.
Recently, Machi Big Brother spent 1761 Ethereum (ETH) totaling $2.89 million and 52,000 USD Coin (USDC) to purchase 2.24 million APE. This purchase cost him $2.94 million. In addition to this significant purchase, CryptoKit withdrew 2.5 million APE from Binance, costing $4.49 million.
This acquisition had a positive impact on the price of APE. According to CoinGecko, on October 17th, the token’s price increased by 4% to $1.11, with a weekly growth of 9.5%. Of course, the rise of Bitcoin to $28,500 also played a role.
